There are plenty of options for the Charlotte Hornets with the No. 12 pick during Thursday's NBA Draft. From possible trades to a plethora of players that have been rumored to be favored by Charlotte, we decided to let a few of our hosts give their take on what will happen during this week's draft.
Along with the Hornets picking, plenty of North Carolina-based players will be highlighting the draft such as Duke's Zion Williamson, RJ Barrett, Cam Reddish, and UNC's Nassir Little and Coby White.

Will the Hornets make a draft night trade? No, they don't have the draft capital to trade up and I don't imagine there are going to be many teams falling over themselves to pick 12th, especially considering the perceived lack of depth in this draft.
Will Bradley Beal be dealt before the end of the night? The Wizards don't have a GM, so no.
Hornet most likely to be dealt on Draft Night: Malik Monk, but only if he's packaged along with the 12th pick. Monk's value to other franchises is up in the air given the up-and-down nature of his first two seasons in Charlotte. Monk, and the Hornets have the benefit of his youth which should make him attractive to someone.
Over/Under 5.5 ACC players picked In the lottery: Over. Zion Williamson, RJ Barrett, Coby White, Nassir Little, Cam Reddish and De'Andre Hunter. The only question mark would be Little but he has impressed in workouts, particularly shooting the ball, and has too much upside to falling out of the lottery despite a somewhat underwhelming freshman season at North Carolina.
If Zion, Morant & RJ go 1-2-3, who will be the 4th pick? If the Pelicans keep the pick then it'll be Jarrett Culver. If the pick is traded, then I'd go with Darius Garland from Vanderbilt. I was able to see Garland in person at a few practices along with Vanderbilt's home opener. The kid has a ton of talent and isn't getting the recognition that he deserves because of the meniscus injury that cost him all but four games of his freshman season. I firmly believed that had Garland played a full season at Vandy we'd be talking about him as the top point guard in the class. At the very least, we'd be having a spirited debate over him and Ja Morant. Garland is without question one of the top four players in this draft.
Sleeper pick for the Hornets: Dylan Windler from Belmont. The Hornets didn't workout Windler but that doesn't mean there isn't interest. Windler is likely to be selected in the top half of the second round. At 6'7" he has the prototypical size of the modern NBA wing and is a lights out shooter--over 42.5% from 3 in his last two seasons at Belmont--something the Hornets desperately need.
Over/Under 6.5 Players drafted before Cam Reddish: Over. Reddish has been defined as an "enigma" because of his passive nature on the court and lack of an "alpha dog" mentality so he'll drop. That being said, outside of Zion, RJ Barrett, Ja Morant and Darius Garland, there isn't a better player in this draft.
Where does North Carolina's Coby White end up? Phoenix Suns. The Suns are looking to trade out of 6 if they can find a veteran to pair with Devin Booker. I don't see that happening before, or on, Thursday night, so they'll gladly settle for White.
Over/Under 1.5 Trades In The Top 10: Over. There's already been one with the Lakers trading their entire youth core sans Kyle Kuzma to the Pelicans for Anthony Davis. As mentioned before, I believe the Pelicans will trade out of the 4th pick. Atlanta owns 8 and 10, so they're strong candidates to move up.
Who will the Hornets draft at 12? Rui Hachimura. It's hard to see a scenario where a Jaxson Hayes type player drops to Charlotte at 12. Hachimura was a fine college player but he'll have difficulty at the next level defending NBA athletes and has a ways to go with his jump shot. In most years, Hachimura is an end of the first round prospect, but this isn't most years.
