NBA Draft Prospect Brandon Clarke On Hornets Pre-Draft Workout

The Charlotte Hornets held their fourth pre-draft workout on Monday ahead of the June 20 NBA Draft.

Eight players worked out for the Hornets including NC State guard Markell Johnson, Clemson forward Elijah Thomas and Charlotte guard Jon Davis.

The day was ultimately highlighted by Gonzaga forward Brandon Clarke who has reportedly become a favorite by the Hornets at the No. 12 pick. 

Clarke transferred to Gonzaga last season after spending his first two seasons at San Jose State and averaged 16.9 points, 8.6 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game.

Clarke was named to the 2019 All-WCC First Team and was named the WCC Defensive Player of The Year and Rookie of The Year.

In addition to the awards, Clarke led the NCAA in field goal percentage at 68.7 percent and scored a career-high 36 points in the NCAA Tournament.
