There have been tons of questions about Cam Newton's shoulder since the 2018 NFL season came to end, but Newton announced today via YouTube that he has created a channel to Vlog about his personal life and let the fans engage with him.

"I decided to launch this YouTube channel to be engaging with my fans because I do feed off what my fans have to say," Newton said. "It also brings you into my life just a bit. I want this one to be kind of different. I want it to have a little more drip, swag, sauce and all that."

Newton said he would show how he trains, his philanthropy and a side of him that you heard about but could never grasp until now.

In Newton's second video released, he allows a 10-minute long look into Jan. 2019 when he had arthroscopic shoulder surgery.

"As the season kept progressing and going forward, I knew the status of my arm was uncertain, but we kept winning games," Newton said. "But then, everything switched. It didn't really get to me until the third or fourth game we lost."

"My shoulder, in particular, was just nagging all year."

Newton goes in depth about the struggle of his shoulder injury and the triumphs throughout the season that he said made him weak and vulnerable.

"I just knew it hurt and it was an issue. I couldn't throw the ball further than 30 yards. No lie," Newton said.

Publically, Newton spoke with Atlanta's 680AM The Fan, but aside from that, Newton hasn't been this open about last season.

"I felt so vulnerable. I felt so scared. I felt so afraid because I knew I wasn't myself," Newton said.
