It's the third-straight season the Panthers have opened at home.

Carolina will be the first team to face the newly-moved Vegas team that signed quarterback Marcus Mariota, tight end Jason Witten and reliever Nelson Agholor in the offseason.

Brady is 3-3 versus Carolina all-time, which includes Super Bowl XXXVIII.

Week 3: Sep. 27 at Los Angeles Chargers, 4:05 p.m.

The Panthers will be one of the first teams to play in the new SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles when they take on the Chargers.

Carolina was one of 13 teams that didn’t play in the Chargers' temporary Los Angeles home that was a soccer stadium from 2017-19.

Former Charger and new Panthers left tackle Russell Okung will get his first rematch against his old team and Carolina will reunite with former Pro Bowl right guard Trai Turner since making the trade between the two offensive linemen during the offseason

Week 4: Oct. 4 vs. Arizona Cardinals, 1 p.m.

The Panthers will face second-year quarterback Kyler Murray and a revamped Cardinals team that is looking to finally break through after a few rebuilding seasons.

Arizona comes to Carolina for the 10th time, where the Panthers are 7-3. The Panthers have hosted the Cardinals in the playoffs three different times, the most of any team.

Week 5: Oct. 11 at Atlanta Falcons, 1 p.m.

The Panthers travel to Atlanta, where they were blown out 40-20 last season.

The Falcons have a few new weapons with running back Todd Gurley and Hayden Hurst, but it's a must-win year in Atlanta

Week 6: Oct. 18 vs. Chicago Bears, 1 p.m.

The Bears will play in Charlotte for the first time since 2014, when the Panthers beat them 31-24.

It'll be interesting to see who Chicago's quarterback is with a competition set to take place between Mitchell Trubisky and Nick Foles.

Week 7: Oct. 25 at New Orleans Saints, 1 p.m.

Teddy Bridgewater and Joe Brady will have their homecoming when the Panthers travel to the Superdome.

Bridgewater went 5-0 as the Saints starting quarterback last season and Brady was a Saints offensive assistant from 2017-18.

In the only primetime game this season for Carolina, the Panthers look to avenge their 29-3 blowout loss to Atlanta in Charlotte last season.

The Panthers host Detroit for the first time since 2014, and just the third time since 2003. Carolina is 4-1 all-time at home against the Lions.

Detroit needs a winning season to avoid a complete teardown and a lot of that will depend on the health of quarterback Matthew Stafford.

Week 12: Nov. 29 at Minnesota Vikings, 1 p.m.

The Panthers will travel to Minnesota for the first time since 2014, when they lost 31-13.

It's also another homecoming for Bridgewater, who will face the team for the first time that drafted him in 2014.

Week 13: BYE WEEK

This will be just the second time ever the Panthers have had a bye week that was Week 13 or later.

In 2001 their bye week was in Week 14.

Week 14: Dec. 13 vs. Denver Broncos, 1 p.m.

A Super Bowl 50 rematch that has both teams looking a lot different than five years ago.

The Broncos look to be a lot more competitive this season with Drew Lock at quarterback for a full season and Von Miller still anchoring the defense.

The Panthers have only hosted Denver twice, with the Panthers beating them in 2008, and lost in 2012.

Week 15: Dec. 19 or 20 at Green Bay Packers, TBD

For the second straight season, Carolina travels to Lambeau Field to face Aaron Rodgers, where it played in a frigid November game that ended with Carolina being stopped less than a yard from there goal line in the final seconds

The game's date and time haven’t been announced yet due to it being one of the NFL's possible designated games to be played on a Saturday.

It marks the eighth time that the Panthers have played in Lambeau and the first time they've traveled there in December since 1999, when Steve Beuerlein scored jumping over the top of a pole in a "walk-off" win.

Week 16: Dec. 27 at Washington Redskins, 1 p.m.

This one is a must-watch as the Panthers face former head coach Ron Rivera, who is in his first season at the helm in Washington, after getting fired after 12 games last season. Coincidentally enough, his firing cane following a loss to the same Redskins.

This will mark the third-straight season that Carolina has faced off against the Redskins. It’s the first time the two teams have played three years in a row since 2001, in the old divisional alignment.

Former Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis, quarterback Kyle Allen, and a handful of other assistant coaches and staff members are now part of the Washington organization

Week 17: Jan. 3 vs. New Orleans Saints, 1 p.m.

Bridgewater will have a chance to welcome Drew Brees into his new home in the final week of the season.
