He may be on a relaxing summer vacation, but sprinting down Estafeta is not the place to find tranquility.

For Washington Redskins cornerback Josh Norman the chance to be in Pamplona on Wednesday during the nine-day celebration was an experience he couldn't pass up.
Norman, who tweeted a picture after the fourth day of the festival in the northern Spanish city, ran with bulls from the Jandilla ranch, which is known for producing dangerous bulls, per the local press.

How dangerous are these bulls? In 20 times bulls from this ranch have run they have gored 30 runners and hold the record for most gorings in a single day with eight in July 2004. In July 2009, a Madrid-born runner was killed by a bull from Jandilla.

However, on this day the bulls did not separate from the herd of oxen who lead them through the streets meaning there was little contact between runners and the bulls, per local reports.

A Single Picture can say a Thousand words in 1! with that being said, This picture does that number NO JUSTICE. I would start with --THOUSAND!!!! as the basement floor! & Elevate from there. ---- #Feedingthespiritthatliesinthedepths#OneoftheGreatestdayeverinmylifetime pic.twitter.com/d67pnSU4R1

Video from the Spanish press shows Norman pacing and preparing to run, but doesn't show how close he got when the bulls passed him. However, an eagle-eyed reporter tweeted a picture which shows Norman, smartly, running well ahead of the oxen.

While Norman came out unscathed, this has not been a festival without incidents. Earlier this week at the San Fermin Running of the Bulls festival two Americans were gored with a 46-year-old man suffering serious injuries after being gored in the neck, according to local authorities. Thursday, the day after Norman ran, another person was gored in the arm and five more were injured.

Norman, who has two years remaining on a five-year, $75 million contract he signed with the Redskins before the 2016 season, carries just $6 million in dead cap money. Some people in the Washington organization have made noise they would like to see Norman leave Washington and releasing Norman would save the team around $8.5 million.

1) Josh is an adrenaline junkie. This isn’t surprising.1a) Can guarantee he doesn’t care what you think of this.2) Team could not pay him if he gets hurt not playing football. He didn’t get hurt. Play on.2a) Yes, I checked with someone on that. https://t.co/1UFQEdzDy6
