June 18, 2020 The athletic's department says all 13 players are now in self-isolation, while 10 others who came into contact with them are self-quarantining. Additionally, four others tested positive for coronavirus antibodies.
According to
Horns 247, about 67 players returned to the campus on June 8 and workouts began on June 15. A second group of about 47 players were set to arrive by the 15th, with workouts set to begin on the 22nd. A third and final group of the school's 2020 signees are also set to arrive by the 15th. Those 17 student-athletes will be allowed to practice after each one "receives clearance from Sports Medicine team" and completes "mandatory education requirements."
