Tom Brady is officially a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the 42-year-old spoke to the media via conference call on Tuesday afternoon.

Earlier, head coach Bruce Arians appeared on The Rich Eisen Show where he discussed the last week and how Tampa Bay ultimately landed the greatest quarterback of all time.

Arians even admitted he was "shocked" to land Brady as he discussed how last Wednesday night was the first time he spoke with Brady during the free agency process.

“Yes," he said. "Jason (Licht) had talked to his representatives during the legal tampering period and we had to wait until Wednesday evening and had a long conversation. Everything went well and everything worked out. I was as shocked as everybody else.”

The conversation lasted for apparently 90 minutes and a lot of things were discussed.

“Just getting to know each other a little bit, you know? I did a couple of games for CBS, so I was in production meetings with Tom, so I knew him that way," Arians said. "We just talked offensive philosophy, family, relocations, all those types of things, how great it is down here to live. And the organization, we have great ownership and a fantastic facility. Then we started talking about football and how he would fit.

"I think what he brings to us more than anything is a proven leader. He is a leader of men who has proven he can win championships and we have a really good young football team that needs a leader like that.”

The Buccaneers finished 7-9 last season, but played in a ton of close games and with Brady now in the mix have immediately became one of the favorites in the NFC.
