Cowboys’ QB Dak Prescott is planning to sign his $31.4 million exclusive franchise tender by Monday, source tells ESPN.The two sides still now have until July 15 to work out a long-term deal.

June 21, 2020 After signing the tender, the Cowboys and Prescott will have until July 15th to agree to a long term deal, with Prescott seeking to become one of the highest paid quarterbacks in the NFL. Prescott will also be obligated to show up to training camp and be required to play in the upcoming 2020-21 season.

per 105.3 The Fan's Mike Fisher, was upwards of $35 million per year for five years, and more than $106 million guaranteed, and is still on the table.
By signing the franchise tag, Prescott will now be the highest-paid Cowboy ever for a single season, while the on the table extension would make him one of the highest-paid players in the history of the NFL.
