Julian Edelman's misdemeanor vandalism charges have been dropped, according to TMZ.

On Jan. 11, the weekend after the Patriots fell to the Titans on Wild Card Weekend, Edelman was charged with vandalism after jumping on the hood of a car in Beverly Hills, California.

The report said Edelman, who was inebriated, slid across the hood of a Mercedes that was stopped for pedestrian traffic as it left a parking lot.

The owner of the car dropped charges after being fully compensated for the repair costs to his vehicle and the case has been formally declined “in the interests of justice.”

Edelman apparently was with Danny Amendola and Paul Pierce the night of the incident.
