It appears the Patriots are letting the world know they are doing their part in what it takes to keep Tom Brady in New England.

According to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport, the organization is willing to pay in excess of $30 million per year to keep Brady with the Patriots. But, if Brady does return he wants the team to spend money on some offensive weapons.

That may prove difficult since the Patriots do not have a ton of money to spend this offseason and $30 million is a lot of money towards the salary cap. It is also worth noting Brady has dead money for 2020 -- $13.5 million if he signs after March 18 and $6.75 million if he signs with the Patriots before March 18.

Rapoport also mentions the Chargers and Titans as potential teams who wll be interested in the quarterback if he does in fact hit free agency. Brady also wants TB12 to go with him to his next destination so that team would need to be willing to incorporate TB12 into their footprint -- the Chargers could be that team.

As for if Brady does leave, NFL Media's Mike Garafolo said the Patriots could potentially trade for a veteran quarterback, but did not mention any names. Options could include Cam Newton, Derek Carr, or maybe even Ryan Fitzpatrick.
