The NFL Combine is about teams getting to know the best college prospects in the country, but Tom Brady was the talk of the week with everyone in the league wondering what his future holds.

According to ESPN's Dan Graziano and Jeremy Fowler (subscription required), some teams are expecting Brady to receive $30 million per year max on a two-year or three-year deal. The report adds teams most in the mix are the Titans, Chargers and Buccaneers, while his Patriots teammates are split whether or not he will return.

But, one of the biggest nuggets to come from the report involves Antonio Brown.

Apparently Brady still keeps in "consistent contact" with Brown and has told him he wants to play with him wherever he plays next. One of Brown's attorneys said Brady told Brown to stay mentally and physically strong so the two can play together again.

Brown and Brady played one game together in 2019 before the troubled wide receiver was released by the Patriots at the end of September following sending alleged threatening text messages to a woman who accused him of sexual misconduct.

It was a tough year off the field for Brown, which included him even being arrested for burglary with assault or battery, burglary of an unoccupied conveyance and criminal mischief following an incident with a moving company at his home in January.

The NFL still has not completed its investigation into him being accused of sexual assault and sexual misconduct by two different woman. Brown was not signed by any team following his release from the Patriots as it was assumed he would immediately be placed on the Commissioner's Exempt List.

"In Antonio's situation, I think the first thing is, for all of us, to think about the well-being of Antonio," Roger Goodell said at the Super Bowl. "To understand what Antonio's going through. We don't talk about the wellness of our players publicly, but I would tell you that you can be sure that the NFL and the NFLPA have a tremendous amount of resources that are available to all players. They are going to be made available to Antonio. We want to help get him on the right track, and get him in a position where he is in a zone where he thinks he can be successful in life. And we are confident that can happen. We want to work to do that and from our standpoint that's the first step. The first step is making sure that we're doing everything to help Antonio."

Before coming to the Patriots, Brown was cut by the Raiders after spending just a few weeks with them over the summer.
