The Monday Night Football booth is getting a shake-up.

According to Richard Deitsch of The Athletic, Joe Tessitore and Booger McFarland will not return and will be replaced by internal candidates, although it is not clear who they might be.

The report notes the two will stay with the network.

Tessitore and McFarland have been in the booth the last two seasons with Jason Witten joining them the first year, but he came out of retirement to play again last season. The pair were not popular among fans, as Tessitore sometimes goes over board, while McFarland quite often points out the most obvious of things.

Some potential names to keep an eye on as replacements are Steve Levy, Dan Orlovsky and Louis Riddick.

ESPN has a number of interesting games this year including Chiefs vs. Ravens in Week 3, Buccaneers vs. Giants in Week 8, Bills vs. 49ers in Week 13 and ends with Patriots vs. Bills in Week 16.
