Remember that throw from Mookie Betts in Tropicana Field last season? Well, he duplicated Friday night just for those who needed a reminder.
The Dodgers' right fielder threw an absolute laser beam from the corner of Chase Field, reaching third base on the fly to get a sliding Ketel Marte at third base. The throw was measured at 305 feet, the fifth-longest since Statcast started gauging such things in 2015.

September 24, 2019 Betts' contributions Friday night didn't stop in the field, hitting his first home run as a Dodger while going 3-for-5 in the Los Angeles loss. The former Red Sox' batting average is now .256 with a .720 OPS after a slow start.
Betts' night wasn't without some issue, however.
Playing center field, Betts took a bad angle what would be a bases-loaded, three-run smash from Christian Walker, allowing the Diamondbacks to take the lead for good.
