Coronavirus is impacting things in baseball besides just limiting locker room access.

According to MLB Network's Jon Heyman, MLB's attention is so focused on the coronavirus that the results of its investigation into the 2018 Red Sox may be delayed even more.

The decision was expected to come before the start of spring training, but that of course did not happen. Then a few weeks ago commissioner Rob Manfred said a ruling would come in a few weeks, which did not happen either. The latest we heard was it would come before the start of the regular season, but now maybe that is in jeopardy.

It's worth noting the investigation into the Astros took 62 days, while Monday is day 63 of the investigation into the Red Sox.

Every Red Sox player and coach to speak on the matter have denied any wrongdoing.
