Michael Jordan is reported to be a billionaire twice over, so suffice to say he doesn't need money.

But could anyone pass on $100M for two hours' worth of work?

According to His Airness' former agent, David Falk, Jordan did just that.

Appearing on WFAN's "Boomer & Gio" on Thursday morning, Falk detailed how Jordan passed up a nine-figure payday while explaining how Jordan has become picky about his endorsements and other business deals.

"I brought him a deal three years ago for $100 million," Falk said. "All he had to do was, other than giving his name and likeness, make one two-hour appearance to announce the deal, and he turned it down."

Falk didn't reveal specifics about who made the offer.

"God bless him," Falk said. "He's been so successful, it gives him an opportunity to do whatever the hell he wants or not to do things he doesn't want. I really admire that. He's very, very selective in the things he wants to be involved in."

Jordan famously lent his likeness to a variety of products and brands that, in some ways, he came to define during a career in which his endorsement earnings far outstripped what he was paid for his excellence on the court. Nike, Gatorade, McDonald's, Hanes -- just a few of the countless brands hawked by MJ.

With his image seen seemingly everywhere in his playing days, Jordan has stepped back a bit from the spotlight, to whatever degree that's possible for a global sports icon, in retirement. Then again, maybe you don't need to sell hamburgers anymore when you own your own NBA team.

Jordan, an avid golfer, also turned down a $7M offer to appear at a golf tournament, Falk said.

Jordan and his complicated legacy have come back into focus with the hit ESPN documentary "The Last Dance," about his final season with the Chicago Bulls.
