If Tom Brady hits free agency, there may be more teams interested in the 42-year-old than originally thought.
One of those teams could be the Cowboys.
There have been rumblings the team could franchise quarterback Dak Prescott, but then trade him if they could sign Brady. It seems a little crazy, but appearing on Dale & Keefe Friday, NFL Network's Michael Irvin said he heard that from "significant people" at the Super Bowl.
“I am telling you right now, at the Super Bowl in Miami, some very significant people that I had conversations (with were) leaning in that same direction," he said. "It was shocking. I had a vodka cranberry in my hand and when they said it to me I put the drink down and said, ‘Let’s talk a little bit more about this.’ I promise you, I had a conversation with people, I can’t tell you who, about that same scenario going down.
"I just don’t know if there’s a real possibility of that happening.”
We'll see how it all plays out, but maybe we should be talking more about Dallas when it comes to Brady's future.
