ST. LOUIS, Mo (KMOX) -- The Cardinals game vs. the Brewers today in Milwaukee has been postponed due to two positive coronavirus tests on the Cardinals side, according to an official announcement from Major League Baseball. The game will be played as part of a traditional doubleheader on Sunday, beginning at 1:10 PM CT

MLB says the rescheduling is consistent with protocols to allow enough time for additional testing and contact tracing to be conducted.

The Cardinals remain self-isolated in their hotel rooms until further notice. They did not travel to the ballpark today.

Saturday's game at Miller Park remains as scheduled for 6:10 PM CT, per MLB.

Earlier this morning, Radio.com insider Jon Heyman tweeted that the game would be postponed over positive tests from the Cardinals.
