The Carolina Panthers gave running back Christian McCaffrey a four-year, $64 million contract extension Monday. Saints running back Alvin Kamara, who'll be up for a new deal of his own soon, seemed quite excited to learn about McCaffrey's new deal.
Kamara was live streaming on Twitch when he saw what McCaffrey is reportedly set to earn. And after hearing the numbers, looked excited about the prospects for his own coming negotiations.
Both players quickly established themselves as some of the top runnning backs in the NFL and have posted similar numbers. In three seasons, Kamara has tallied 4,476 total yards and scored 38 touchdowns and McCaffrey's posted 5,443 yards and scored 39.
